Creative Technical Expert

During my career as a chief engineer in maritime engineering, I’ve gained tremendous experience in technology and technical systems. Besides, I’ve always been part of a creative environment, with a keen interest in drawing and designing. For me, the combination of creative and logical thinking has become indispensable.

I love creativity within the strict rules of the technical field. A difference of a millimeter truly matters to me. I enjoy sketching, but it becomes truly alive for me when the dimensions are accurate and the sketch could immediately be put into production.

A malfunctioning installation or a required component that is not available or maybe does not yet exist, we encounter plenty of such challenges. However, when you know the path to gather the right information, the solution often becomes visible. Technology is continuously evolving to create solutions.

Thanks to all these skills and knowledge acquired over the years, I have a broad ‘toolbox’ from which I can draw for your project.

To conceive an original and creative solution for a (new) problem, you need to look at it from multiple perspectives. The more possibilities, skills, and thus perspectives you can employ, the more creative and innovative the solution.

My creativity and innovativeness are reflected in the execution of my products and in the solutions I devise. Because I am versatile, both technically and creatively, theoretically and practically skilled, I think of things that others might not come up with so quickly.
